Brief:

I've always been a fan of words. Cinépolis has always sounded to me like a word taken out from the Jetsons, and the O-Rama era. The true golden age. Modernism at its zenith.
Cinépolis landed in perfect timing with an early obsession with Esquivel, the greatest mexican composer of Space Age Pop music. Together, they might be a perfect match. Something that would set the stage for a delightful mimosa, a golden sun, an Yves Saint Laurent cocktail jacket and a mid-day landscape view of the Acapulco bay in a Richard Neutra house.

Having that buzzing around my head, creative fellas Bombay reached out with a grandiose script full of hectic, physical comedy and movie references that enhanced the story of the in-house movie experience.

Reach:

The film premiered as their insignia film in their movie theaters, playing during movie trailers and and across platforms in social media.
The film reached 4 million views through YouTube only.

Challenge:

We had to pull back a bit from the original grandiose script, since it meant going over our 60 seconds format, in order to get away with the mayhem.
With it, a bit of the original visual and music approach was toned down, but still we got to keep a big band music to emphasize dynamism.
